Sync ported in. She always felt most at home when she was jacked in to the nexus, whether it was her own machine or not. Even though she hated it sometimes, she did have a very deep link to computers, not just her own. Since her stay at Etrius she'd been like this; she saw faster, she read faster, she processed faster. She could -feel- her computer. She knew exactly what the computer was 'thinking' and exactly why. The information flowed from the world to the wall to the computer, and through her directly to her mind. All the world's information at her command. No matter where she was, once she was jacked in she was home. Sync didn't remember her life before the experiments, so she wasn't sure what her home was like before. From the files she chased while still on the inside she knows her real name is Sylphia Wintermute, age fifteen, nickname Sil, experiment number is Si14. She was one of two main projects of a development team known as Selsyn. Processors, "You stole me freaking life!" "Bite me, Silvy." Sync groaned inwardly. The boys were playing some game and yelling at each other. This is what she had to suffer through daily, living with these kids, this so called rebellion, Full Circle. Full Circle was a small group of evolutionaries who had escaped from the secret Etrius labs . There were four of them, originally, Silver, Jaki, Lawrence and Pheen, they later picked up Mark and Ruby; and the six of them have been trying to take down Etrius ever since. Sync had moved in to the back room of ClubSquaredCube , a small nightclub in the understreets. ClubSquaredCube looks like a honest enough rave (as honest as raves get, really) from the outside, but serves as the underground headquarters of Full Circle. Etrius doesn't know this, at least not anymore. "Oh you are -so- dead, freak," Silver was the closest thing Full Circle had to a leader. He was always serious when a mission's involved and is normally quite calm, though he loses his cool if his friends are threatened. On his free time though he's just a regular sort of teen. He wears big thick gloves most of the time because his hands involuntarily glow white with psionic power, though it's not dangerous unless he wants it to be. Sync doesn't want to admit it, but with his silver hair and eyes and his sleek features, he's quite hot. "Really? Bring it, oh fearless leader. Aren't you tired of being whomped in every game yet?" Jaki was... well he was Jaki. Jaki defies all explaination. He claims he's half demon <...this new report claims that the recent mutations of wild animals over the last three decades are related to the demonds spoken of in legend, Etrius scientists were unavailable for comment>, but not in the sense that he's half human either; the two have fused and become one entity. He can phase in and out of what he claims to be the demonic realm, though Sync thinks he's full of hot air. That's him to a tee, he's the sarcastic, whiney joker of the group, and a total (but mostly unsuccessful) womanizer. Of course, having horns and demonic black eyes spanning half his face don't help much. Sync closed her eyes, she was getting too distracted. She had originally connected to the nex to... what did she connect for? She couldn't remember anymore, too much noise- "Hey everyone!" Oh just great, more people. Mark <(file not found)> and Ruby walked in with Pheen and Cri . Mark and Ruby were great with the kids, and often took them outside to play. Sync was never that great with them, but they seemed to like her anyways, she never could figure that out. Mark was new to the group, sorta. He was being hunted down by Etrius for a while, before Sync had fixed things. No one knew why he was being chased by Etrius, but they took him in at first for his protection, but he's been hanging out here since. Used to be a pickpocket and squeegee boy, apparently. Cheerful and optimistic, with a kind face, Sync reluctantly found him cute too. Ruby was even newer, she was in search of her sister who was taken by Etrius years ago. She traveled all the way from the Western Rim to get here, but joined up with the Circle because she really had no idea where to begin looking for her sister. She's a wizard specializing in cleric skills, cheerful and idealistic if not a bit clutzy; her and Mark may or may not have a thing going on, who knows. As if her train of thought was disrupted enough, Sync was almost knocked over by the force of a small child launching herself into a hug. Pheen snuggled against Sync's arm affectionately, her messy hair flying to and fro. Sync didn't like kids very much, but Pheen was okay; just not right now when she was trying to concentrate. "Hey, hey, get off of my arm. Mark!" "Pheen, Sync's off messing around with her computers again, you know you can't bug her when she's doing that, or else she'll beat up me and Jaki again" "Awwww, fine, Cri, wanna go play with the DJs?" The older boy gave sullen nod and mumbled something from beneath his scarf, nd with that they were off, before Mark or the others had a chance to stop them. Chisuzu won't be pleased. Pheen has been a permanent resident at the Club for a while now, since Silver and the rest have been. She's an extremely cheerful and outgoing and latches on to people she likes, much to Sync's dismay. She's followed by what seems to be a glowing ball of light she affectionately calls Ball and talks to, though no one else can hear it. Criduchat was a nekomi street kid who's grown a fondness for Mark, and sometimes hangs around the club. He's quiet and morose, and is very obedient. Mark's teaching him how to pickpocket. "Oh come on, that's not fair, three on one?" "What was that about whomping, horn boy?" "That's just not fair, you've got the squeegee kid AND the ninja on your side!" Sync hadn't even noticed the orange clad boy had walked in. But he had that way about him, he moved about in total silence. People called him the ninja because of the way he looked and how perfectly silent he always was, it was scary how he could get behind you without you noticing; but the guys here at SquaredCube called him ninja for a totally different person.
